Computer Operator Jobs are an integral part of IT jobs required in most organizations to oversee the working of computer systems. Eligibility conditions for computer operator jobs

The eligibility criteria vary from company to company. Some companies prefer to hire computer operators who have passed class 12 and have a 1 year or 6 months computer diploma from a recognized institution. Some companies prefer to hire graduates in computer science for computer operator jobs. To get into better positions as a software developer or computer analyst after few years of experience in the role of a computer operator, it is advisable to obtain a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. Some of the courses to take up for computer operator jobs are Diploma in Computer Application, Advanced Diploma or Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application. To get jobs in government sector, candidates need to clear the entrance exam too. Several big organizations hire computer operators with 2-3 years of experience in the same field.

Not only the basic educational requirement, to get into computer operator jobs, the candidates need to possess some other key skills, which are essential requirements. These include time management skills, critical thinking, critical problem-solving skills and alertness.
